A cage load on its way back to the plant. Most of our customers are tyre retailers, workshops and wreckers inside ten minutes of Berkshire Road.
PHOTOTyres waiting on the lineReceived at Berkshire Road, stacked and queued for processing.
Collections stacked on our receival floor, queued for the line. On a plan, it is our floor that fills up and not yours — no fire risk, no trip hazard, no EPA threshold creeping up on you.
We take passenger, SUV, 4WD and truck tyres, on steel rims or off. Alloy rims aren't accepted — keep those, they're worth money to you. Earthmover, tractor and oversize tyres are quoted individually. All prices exclude GST.
The first 40
We're building the collection round now, which means a fixed number of slots on each day. The first 40 businesses across Sunshine, St Albans, Deer Park, Keilor, Tullamarine and the surrounding suburbs get:

Where your tyres actually go
Victoria has a long history of tyre collectors who took the money and left the pile behind. We are the recycler, so here is the whole chain, in order.
1
Weighed in
Every load crosses our weighbridge. You get a signed docket with the weight and the date, and the movement is recorded in EPA Waste Tracker.

Shredded on site
Our own shredding and granulation line reduces tyres to crumb, separating out the steel and fibre as it goes. Ten minutes from most of our customers.

Separated
Steel is recovered for metal recycling. Fibre is extracted. What's left is clean, graded rubber crumb — a raw material, not a waste.

Sold on
Shred and crumb go to licensed domestic and overseas buyers. Your certificate shows the tonnes we received and processed.

PHOTOClassification and baggingGranulation, dust extraction and the bagging station.
Classification, dust extraction and bagging. Product is weighed into bulk bags on site and dispatched from here.
We are building domestic pathways in addition: crumb to CERG for hydrogen, carbon black and graphite; crumb for bitumen modification; shred to pyrolysis at ACE Thermal Recovery. These are related parties of ACE and these pathways are in development, not contracted offtake.
Your duty doesn't end at the gate
Under Victorian law, waste tyres are a reportable priority waste. The business that generated them carries an obligation to make sure they reach somewhere lawful — and that obligation follows the tyres after they leave your property.
We're registered, and you can check
ACE holds EPA Victoria registration A09b for waste tyre storage at 44 Berkshire Road. Ask us for the details and verify them yourself.
Watch your own pile
Storing waste tyres above the regulated volume triggers an EPA permission requirement for your site, not just ours. A scheduled collection keeps you under it. Not sure where you sit? Take the free 30-minute storage check — we'd rather tell you than sell you something.
Paperwork on every pickup
A signed chain-of-custody receipt at the time of collection, recorded in EPA Waste Tracker. Your certificate shows the tonnes we received and processed.
We are the recycler
Your tyres are processed at our own site, not handed to a third party. Nothing leaves here as a whole tyre — exporting whole baled tyres has been illegal in Australia since 2021 in any case.
The full card
Published, so you can compare it to what you're paying now without ringing anyone. Every figure is a starting rate — your exact price is confirmed in writing before the first pickup. Effective 1 October 2026, excluding GST.

Where we collect
Our round is built by suburb, not by radius, because road distance and a map circle disagree.
